In 2019, there are 5 types of compounds and 3 colors of tires: white – the hardest, yellow – medium and red – soft. The line of compositions is numbered from C1 to C5, where C1 is the hardest composition, and C5 is the softest. For each race, an individual set of tires is selected, of which there may be 3: C1-C2-C3, C2-C3-C4, C3-C4-C5. The selection of sets depends on factors such as weather, the probability of rain, the number of fast and slow turns, the number of straight lines, the composition of the asphalt, so that each set of tires on the tracks wears out differently.

В 2019 году существует 5 видов составов и 3 цвета шин: белый – самый жёсткий, жёлтый – средний и красный – мягкий. Линейка составов пронумерована от С1 до С5, где С1 – самый твёрдый состав, а С5 – самый мягкий. На каждую гонку подбирается индивидуальный комплект шин, которых всего может быть 3: С1-С2-С3, С2-С3-С4, С3-С4-С5. Подбор комплектов зависит от таких факторов как погода, вероятность дождя, количество быстрых и медленных поворотов, количество прямых, состав асфальта, вследствие чего каждый комплект шин на трассах изнашивается по-разному.
